Director's Input: This mix is a Re-release of one of my early classics.  Following the initial January  release date, veteran mixmaker LD2K called KB:FTK, "The second best mix I have ever seen." Fear the Knight has now been digitally re-mastered in high quality video and audio with some subtle changes and an alternate ending. The subject and story however, remain the same: Kobe Bryant's return from exile.  After the dismal 2004-2005 season, Kobe Bryant's name had been all but forgotten.  Over the following summer however, through rigorous training and hard work he becomes "more than just a man" and returns from exile with a vengeance. 
 

Director's Input: I had always heard Charles Barkley make notorious claims.  But this time he crossed the line.  His ridiculous comment inspired me to make this short mix to "prove him wrong."  The mix itself only took a few hours to make, but its message lasts much longer. I emailed the video to the TNT Sports Department after I was told Kobe Bryant would make a cameo on "Inside the NBA." Not surprisingly, they did not respond to my message.

Director's Input: Personally, I feel "Once in a Lifetime" is my best work  The video details the exciting Lakers/Suns first round playoff series. Again I turned to Eminem for a song that would provide me with the emotional ups and downs of a seven game playoff series. Unlike my other works which solely focus on Kobe Bryant, O.I.A.L focuses on every player involved in the series. The message of the video is clear: Take advantage when you can because you only get one shot.  The Lakers failed to do just that, which leads to the cinematic ending of the mix.
 

Director's Input: Over the years I have seen many Top 10 countdowns...assists, dunks, blocks, steals, buzzer beaters, even the top 10 dunks on Shawn Bradley.  So rather than duplicate those, I decided to make a Top 10 countdown which revolves around Kobe's three ball.  I hand-selected the list which consists of several long range treys.  The mix only includes clips from the regular season, so don't expect those 1st round bombs against Phoenix to be in here.

Director's Input: .  Although its only 1:08 seconds long, this video seems a lot longer. In this mix I decided to showcase a lot of editing and timing unlike some of my other mixes. This mix was the most frustrating one I have ever worked on, at times I got pretty worked up over it, but needless to say I am very pleased with the final product. I think in terms of editing it is one of my best work.
 

Director's Input: .  Bruce Bowen has always been the best defender on Kobe. But regardless, I made a mix that shows how fiercely these two go at each other. It ends up being more of a one sided contest. The battle begins at staples and moves to the AT&T center.

Director's Input:  All the anger inside Kobe has been building up: The comparisons to Jordan, biased officiating, Shaq winning another title. How much can one man take? How far can he be pushed...till he explodes and unleashes that anger on others...

Director's Input: Probably my best mix, but I don't want to give too much away. This video basically has two tempos and underscores many emotions with a lot of audio editing involved. Covers Kobe's struggles to his recent scoring binge. Finished this mix in 5 days.
